Bryan Adams will steer his Get Up Tour back through the area for the second time in a year. He'll play the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land on Sept. 12.
Adams talked to the Chronicle about his new album "Get Up" last spring. It's a sprightly record produced by Electric Light Orchestra ringleader Jeff Lynne. And he'll obviously be doing his monster hits from the '80s and early '90s like "Summer of 69," "Heaven" and "Cuts Like A Knife."
Adams recently ranked #8 in a research project a few years ago trying to determine the most famous Canadians. That media theorist Marshall McLuhan outranked actor Ryan Reynolds on the list lends weight to its validity.
