NEW: United Memorial Medical Center will conduct FREE drive-through COVID-19 testing at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land, 18111 Lexington Blvd., beginning Tuesday at 10 a.m. Free testing will continue at the site Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Anyone experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms such as temperatures exceeding 100, shortness of breath and dry/persistent coughs may be tested at the site. According to United Memorial, test results may take up to three days due to the current surge in lab testing; however, everyone will be called by the hospital whether they test positive or negative.

United Memorial has the capacity to do about 150 to 200 tests daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Once they've reached the number of vehicles they can accommodate during this period of time, the gates will be closed and they'll continue testing those that are lined up in the parking lot. That happened very quickly this morning. The gates will reopen tomorrow at 9 a.m. It's essentially first-come, first served.

To accommodate efficient flow of traffic through the site, Oxbow at Lexington will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the testing operations. To access the test, motorists traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 59 should exit University Boulevard, take the turn-around under the freeway overpass to the northbound frontage road and turn right on Taborwood Avenue.

No appointments needed and open to anyone not just residents of Fort Bend County.

Under the direction of our local, county, state and National government agencies and with the consultation of numerous artists and promoters, we  have been in the process of postponing shows that fall in the window of government mandates. In addition, many tours are rescheduling some dates beyond this window and those changes are updated here on our website, through our social media channels and via emails directly to ticket buyers.

The health and safety of our patrons, artists, community, and employees is our top priority.  We are managing this unprecedented situation in real time and doing our best to place these affected shows later in our calendar so fans will have an opportunity to see their favorite artists. We are concerned as everyone about the health and safety of people here in the Houston and Fort Bend areas and around the globe and look forward to a time when we can welcome fans and artists back to the Smart Financial Centre stage.
