Gilberto Santa Rosa, affectionately known as "El Caballero de la Salsa" or the "Gentleman of Salsa," originates from Carolina, Puerto Rico. His journey in the world of music commenced as a backup singer in various orchestras, where he meticulously crafted his distinctive vocal style. In 1986, he ventured out to establish his own musical ensemble, setting the stage for a prolific career filled with chart-topping hits such as "Good Vibration," "De Amor y Salsa," and "Perspectiva." Santa Rosa's musical output has been remarkably consistent, with nearly annual album releases since his debut. His remarkable achievements include holding the record for the most number one records on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart as of 2010.

Su trayectoria en el mundo de la música comenzó como cantante de respaldo en diversas orquestas, donde meticulosamente desarrolló su distintivo estilo vocal.
