Peter Frampton, a Grammy-winning guitarist, stands as one of the most revered figures in the history of rock music. His musical journey commenced at a young age, with him assuming the roles of lead singer and guitarist for the British band the Herd when he was just 16. By the time he reached 18, Frampton had already co-founded Humble Pie, a seminal rock group counted among the earliest supergroups.

Frampton's musical prowess extends far and wide, as evidenced by his collaborations in recording sessions and live performances with an array of legendary artists. Among his notable collaborators are luminaries such as George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Dion, Hank Marvin, Ringo Starr, B.B. King, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam, Buddy Guy, and Steve Miller, among numerous others.

Remarkably, Frampton's relevance in the music world has remained unwavering over the years. He even lent his expertise to Cameron Crowe's Oscar-winning film "Almost Famous," serving as a technical advisor and contributing music for the fictional band Stillwater. Notably, he even made a cameo appearance as the road manager for Humble Pie.

Frampton's achievements are a testament to his lasting impact. In 2007, he clinched a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album for "Fingerprints," and in 2014, he secured a place in the Musicians Hall of Fame. The prestigious Les Paul Innovation Award from NAMM's TEC Awards was bestowed upon him in 2019, while his album "All Blues" dominated Billboard's Blues Chart for an impressive fifteen weeks.

The accolades continued to pour in during subsequent years. In 2020, Frampton was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. His memoir, "Do You Feel Like I Do?: A Memoir," made its debut on The New York Times Bestsellers list, while his 2021 album "Frampton Forgets The Words" garnered widespread critical acclaim. Notably, he graced London's Royal Albert Hall with a sold-out performance captured on film and currently airing on PBS as part of their Pledge Drive.

Adding to his legacy, Frampton announced the upcoming release of "Frampton@50" by Intervention Records, a numbered limited-edition vinyl box set encompassing his essential studio releases from 1972 to 1975: "Wind of Change," "Frampton’s Camel," and "Frampton."

A crowning jewel in his career, "Frampton Comes Alive!" remains an enduring phenomenon even after 46 years, boasting sales of over 17 million copies worldwide and securing its position as one of the highest-selling live records in history.
